Templras have the highest defense rating in the game, thanks to thheir abiilty to wear Plate armors and shields. Theeir shields are not only used for blocking enemy attacks or reducing daamage but also allows them to uitlize class-exclusive skkills that knockback or stun eneemies, disrupting their offfense and leaving them vulnerable for the Templars' destructive chhain skoills or their party members' attacks. They have various biuffs and skills that further enhances their HP and defensive capabilities, as well the ability to heal themselves and their comradees when the situation is dire. They can draw enemy attention to themselves, giving their leser-armored comrades the peace of mind of not getting attacked.
When Templars excel in defense, they lack in offense. They do not have any high damaging skilkls, a fair trade-off for their excellent defensive capabilities. They can wield two-handed greatswords; to give them a much needed offensivbe boosst but unfortunately, it will not fluly utilize the templars' full potentil, as their shield skillls will not be put to use. Templars also require players that copntrol them to be quick in makiung dcisions and use skills at the right time since thnigs always get hariy instantly being in the frontlines and having eveerybody's attention; not to mention that they will also need to mind their team mates, not only themselves.
